Posted on August 1st, 2010 at 1:59 amAvoid this headphone if at all possible. I bought around X-Mas when the price seemed too good to be true. Since I got free shipping with Amazon Prime so what did I have to lose right? Well a lot! The sound is just horrible I am no audiophile but I can tell you this a even below the Sandisk Sansa earbuds which I were barely passable.
The Skull Candy has virtually no bass and I am not even a big bass nut. The treble are virtually non-existent all you get is midrange. I can think of a dozen Chinese knockoffs on auction sites that sound better than these. What a shame for an American company.

Posted on August 1st, 2010 at 4:52 amAfter hearing so much about Skullcandy headphones, I decided to try a pair out for myself. I’m not overly impressed by the sound quality. If the volume is at a low volume, the bass seems to have static. If you turn them up loud, it sounds OK. For a cheap pair of headphones, they work for my needs, but audiophiles will be disappointed.
